In Brazil, despite Spanish teaching in early childhood education still being underdeveloped, the inclusion of attractive materials such as "Pocoyo" offers new possibilities. Our research is based on Mayer's work (2009), which notes that using images and visual resources helps consolidate information, simplifies the learning of difficult concepts, and avoids cognitive overload. These studies demonstrate that visual resources are essential for improving the effectiveness of language teaching, fostering more dynamic and accessible learning. The methodology consisted of a descriptive analysis of selected episodes of "Pocoyo," observing the vocabulary presented and the educational messages, as well as briefly proposing pedagogical strategies, such as interactive pauses and complementary activities, to reinforce learning. The results indicate that the episodes are effective in teaching basic vocabulary, such as colors, numbers, and actions, as well as social values, such as friendship, respect, and teamwork.
