In addition, universities, through residency programs, have been providing manuals that guide and instruct residents, facilitate and standardize the guidelines and activities to be developed by them. Objectives: Produce a manual for the Internal Medicine Residency program at the Multicampi School of Medical Sciences of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (EMCM-UFRN), aimed at students and professional staff. Method: We opted for an integrative literature review and document analysis in order to organize, synthesize and gather the results that are published on the Medical Residency Manual as an educational product. Results: Preparation of the Manual for the Internal Medicine Residency at the EMCM-UFRN.
