Five articles available in the SciELO database were selected and analyzed, focusing on productions published between 2015 and 2024. The search and data collection were carried out between March and June 2025. The results show that, despite advances in public health policies and care practices, HIV-related stigma is still present in hospitals, directly impacting the quality of care, adherence to treatment, and patients' experiences. Discriminatory attitudes, often veiled, on the part of health professionals reflect the persistence of moral, social, and institutional prejudices. In this context, hospital managers assume a strategic role, being responsible for implementing educational actions, promoting welcoming environments, and ensuring comprehensive care. It is concluded that tackling stigma requires sensitive, ethical management that is committed to the principles of the SUS, capable of promoting cultural and institutional transformations in the care of people living with HIV.pt-BRAttribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/HIVEstigmaPreconceitoGestor de SaúdeHospitais.O papel do gestor hospitalar no enfrentamento aos estigmas e preconceitos vividos por pacientes com HIVThe role of the hospital manager in addressing stigma and prejudice experienced by HIV patientsbachelorThesisOUTROS
