In this context, adequate and sustainable architectural solutions for sportive buildings in regions with less conducive climate are a necessity. The present work proposes utilizing directives, constructive techniques and adequate materials for the construction of a multi-sports center in the city of Santana do Matos, in which presently there are only two public spaces dedicated to the practice of physical activity: a soccer field with a small set of bleachers and a multi-sports gymnasium with a third age gym (ATI) in the proximities. These places, besides not being exactly adapted to the local climate, especially because of the lack of covering in the field and ATI, don’t offer variety in the choices of sports and physical activity to the population, limiting their possibility of exercise.
