The influence of socioeconomic factors on the students performances was the guiding axis from which the explanatory variables were set in this research. The Boxplot Chart was used as principal tool, and as additional, the Bar Graphs. Another aim was to classify the UFRN undergraduate courses according to the students performance in the Multiple Choice and Writing tests of the 2012 entrance examination through the cluster analysis, using the agglomerative hierarchical technique - the Ward’s Method.
