To this end, an integrative literature review was carried out in the PubMed, Virtual Health Library (VHL) and Scielo databases. Five articles were included, considering primary studies; quantitative and qualitative approach; published in the last ten years; written in Portuguese, English and Spanish; open access; with full text available; excluding duplicate articles and those that were unrelated to the research topic and would not answer the guiding question of this study. The reviewed articles highlighted disparities in screening and test results for the trans population, providing significantly lower screening rates than for the cis population for cervical cancer, which may be a consequence of the discrimination suffered by this group in healthcare settings.
