Motivated by these transformations, the study aimed to identify the changes in the musical entertainment genre that emerge from this practice, in addition to reflecting on the creative, aesthetic and identity path arising from the production process and the determination of factors that recover elements of the Potiguar culture. Through a historical overview of the Brazilian sound broadcasting, including discussions on public, state and university radio, and the conceptualizations of radio genres, we proposed a historical-structural outline of the program through bibliographic, documentary research and semi-structured interviews with servers and scholarship holders, who made up the team at some point. These applied techniques are qualitative research tools that, in this monograph, are exploratory in nature, in the form of a comparative case study. The in-depth analysis of the problem allowed us to visualize, point out and understand the evolution in the script, production, and sound design of Vozes do Brasil as well as to have a glimpse of new horizons that reaffirm this new identity through the questioning raised around the hypothesis of the musical radio documentary format.RadiojornalismoRádio UniversitáriaGêneros RadiofônicosPrograma MusicalVozes do BrasilbachelorThesis
