Given the importance of evidence-based telephonoaudiology, doubts about the effectiveness of this system have led to the need for a search of scientific material, especially in written language, to prove its validation. Objective: To integrate scientific evidence regarding the reliability of telephonoaudiology in written language. Research Strategy: We conducted a national and international bibliographic survey indexed in the following databases: Medline, Scielo, Eric and LILACS. Selection criteria: Articles published in national and international journals, in which the international ones should be written in English, with full text available in the database, with the date of publication between 2003 and 2022. The descriptors used were the free terms: “telepractice and reading”, “telepractice and reading disabilities”, “telehealth and reading disabilities” e "telehealth and reading". Data analysis: The analysis was performed using a spreadsheet, with the tabulation of the following data: authors, year of publication, country where the study was conducted, objective, main results and conclusion. Results: Nine studies were included in this review. The initial result of the search resulted in 1120 articles, without the removal of duplicates, with publication dates between 2010 and 2022. Conclusion: We note the scarcity of studies on written language telephonoaudiology. Therefore, there is no consensus in the literature about the efficiency of the practice. However, the findings of this review point to an optimistic view, since much of the literature finds data favorable.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/TelepráticaLinguagemLeituraEscritaTelefonoaudiologiaLinguagem escrita e telefonoaudiologia: evidências de efetividadeWritten language and telephonoaudiology: evidence of effectivenessbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FONOAUDIOLOGIA
