The study search to object nutritional aspects and identify the food insecurity of a elderly group in Santa Cruz/RN. Methodology: It’s deal with a quantitative study of a transversal model with peoples of a age equal or superior than 60 years (n=29) with registration in NASF and were altented in CRAS. It happens the acheevement of collect through a semi structured quiz approaching personal, Socioeconomic and clinic, and apply the EBIA and were realized a anthropometric evoluation. Results: It notes that 69% were from female and 31% from men, and age range of 71-75 years (31%). It related to clinical aspects, there is a achievement of a medical monitoring (965,5%), but 75,9% possess any chronic non-transmissible disease (DCNT), and this diabetes (10,3%), dyslipidemia (6,9%), cancer and diabetes (3,4%), hypertension (24,1%), hypertension and diabetes (13,8%), hypertension and dyslipidemia (3,4%), hypertension and osteoporosis (3,4%). For anthropometric data, it notes a prevalence of overweight (54,0%) and a veryhigh risk for metabolic complication (100% for women and 44,4 for men). The biggest part fir in a security fud (69,0%) followed through the insecurity feed (28,0%). Conclusion: The population is in a nutritional inadequacies, per example the prevalence of overweight and na very high risk for metabolic complication with a relationship in a chronic non-transmissible diaseases, this way it’isn’t being observed by the prevalence of insecurity feed.
