The intention of this work is to understand how Renaissance principles are reflected in his spirituality and how these influences shaped his views as a religious figure. For this, the work Spiritual Canticle was chosen as the main corpus, considering both its poetic and prose versions. The choice of this work is justified by the presence of symbolic elements and Renaissance concepts, which allow an analysis of the cultural and philosophical influences of the time.
