A utilização de recurso educacional em terapia nutricional: estratégia de educação permanente dos profissionais de saúde. 2021. 74f. Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Gestão e Inovação em Saúde) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2021.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/47664Introduction: One of the great challenges of public health institutions is the provision of assistance to the user. Many tools are used to achieve efficiency, ensure patient safety and offer excellent services. Using tools to achieve efficiency is essential for the quality of care process. Objective: To present the process of construction and elaboration of an innovative educational resource, using technological mediation, on nutritional therapy, as a permanent education strategy, for the qualification of nurses and other professionals who provide health care in a University Hospital. Methodology: This is a qualitative-quantitative research in the form of action research. This study was implemented at the University Hospital of Santa Maria (HUSM-UFSM), in which a structured research was carried out, sent by e-mail to HU nurses and analysis of the documentation available to professionals via the HU intranet. This study supported the structuring of the script and the elaboration of the educational module. Results: A self-instructional course was developed for the AVASUS platform. The course hasa duration of 30 hours, divided into 5 distinct units. Each unit includes two to three classes each, withdidactic matter that provides knowledge and learning for patient care in TNE and PNT in the hospital environment. To structure the material, professionals with expertise in the subject were identified and invited, in which each content writer contributed their knowledge. The course targets all health professionals working in a hospital environment, especially nurses, nursing technicians, residents and students. Conclusion: it is important to understand that nurses perception of knowledge is a fragile process since training. And this leads to the development of skills guided by the experience of the practice of the daily routine, and, consequently, the attitudes that are taken by the professional, the nurse. Added to this, knowledge is linked to practices in the area of expertise, as well as in the training of specialists according to the individual interest of the professional. All this set has a direct impact on patient care, as there is no uniformity in the procedures and attitudes of each nurse. And the biggest challenge is to develop an innovative resource, mediated by technology, so we went in search of professionals with expertise in the subject, to structure the roadmap for the course module that will instigate the qualification for care in nutritional therapy. It is recommended that for the fields of skill and attitude, new methodologies for the development of learning are encouraged.
