There is characterized as a favorite summer destination and also part of the typical touristic itinerary of the place. However, the absence of major investments in tourism and urban infrastructure is seen shows us that there is a refutation about the acceptance of the place. This study has as main target to show the elements and point of view about Redinha Nova Beach, located in the municipality of Extremoz-RN, as option for summer and touristic place. It has been used descriptive-exploratory method through qualitative research with semi-structured interview script. It concludes that there is a true natural and touristy jewel, recognized by the population, valued by tourists, but not valued as a priority in urban and tourism policies. To beautiful, rich and relegated, still waits for the reversal of the situation and looks for a better political and social condition, also touristic prestige.Turismo. Lugar. Veraneio. Atrativo.
