Similar works already carried out in the area are presented, in addition to a study on the regulations of the Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (ANATEL) regarding the assignment of frequency bands to specific applications and measures to protect systems from interference. Based on the list of base stations of the Serviço Móvel Pessoal (SMP), measurements of received power levels at azimuths oriented to stations of cellular communication systems, as well as predictive theoretical studies of the received levels from those stations are carried out. Furthermore, the values obtained are evaluated in relation to their possible impact on real operations of tracking aerospace artifacts.
