The analysis focuses on the space and chronotopic figurations as an analytical category, examining their subjective implications and psychological aspects in the lyrical self. To position the poet within the Brazilian literary system and comment on the critical reception of his work, propositions by BOSI (1967, 2021), GULLAR (1976, 1995), MENEZES (1912), CANDIDO (1989), ALMEIDA (1970) are considered. In terms of the methodological approach, a qualitative and bibliographical research was adopted, involving reading and analysis of studies on the subject, including books and articles published in the research area. The work consisted of three main stages: first, a study of the historical and cultural context in which the poet produced his work, followed by an examination of his critical reception; second, the reading and discussion of the texts that supported the research; and third, the analysis and interpretation of the poems, which are the focus of this study. The theoretical framework of this work is based on topoanalytical studies influenced by the thinking of BACHELARD (1979) and BORGES FILHO (2008). In relation to the specific propositions about the chronotope, which are fundamental to the analysis of the poems, the theoretical basis is the systematization of the chronotope according to BAKHTIN (1998), BEMONG and BORGHART (2015), BORGES FILHO (2011). The analysis reveals that the spaces in the poems are integral parts and have direct implications for the lyrical subject, as it remains integrated into the space that encompasses its multiplicity.
