In response, organizations, whether public or private, are also becoming more actively engaged with the objective of promoting a positive impact on the environment. The objective of this study is to evaluate the approach to environmental management at the Rio Grande do Norte State Court of Justice. This will entail identifying the projects and actions implemented by the Court, investigating the resources spent and saved on environmental actions, and finally analyzing employees' perceptions of the changes that have occurred in their routines as a result of the environmental actions developed by the court. This study employed a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative and qualitative techniques. Case study procedures and bibliographical research were utilized, with a descriptive classification. The findings indicate that the TJRN engages in environmental initiatives and programs, as evidenced in the annual PLS reports. These programs helped to reduce the consumption of natural resources and contributed to an increase in material destined for recycling. The study was carried out from 2019 to 2023, analyzing the pre- and post-pandemic stages. With regard to environmental disclosure in the financial statements, it was not possible to identify environmental liabilities and assets or any explicit environmental disclosure.
