Modelo matemático do tipo SIR aplicado ao vírus da Covid-19 no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte. Orientadora: Dra. Débora Borges Ferreira. 2024. 52f. Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Matemática em Rede Nacional) - Centro de Ciências Exatas e da Terra, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/63138The spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes Covid-19, is mathematically modeled through a compartimental contagion model of the SIR (SusceptibleInfected-Removed) type, which depends on a system of differential equations. Therefore, this work aims to present a discretization of differential equations and apply them to the population of the state of Rio Grande do Norte with the purpose of analyzing and understanding their behavior. To this end, Excel spreadsheet software was used to calculate the numerical data of its propagation as well as the graphs that describe the numerical variation of the model compartments. During the process, mathematical modeling is necessary and in view of this, mathematical modeling was used as a technique to support the teaching of mathematics in basic education. At the end of the work, a lesson guide will be presented with the aim of guiding teachers who wish to use this technique in their classes.Acesso AbertoModelagem matemáticaModelo SIRExcelCovid-19Modelo matemático do tipo SIR aplicado ao vírus da Covid-19 no Estado do Rio Grande do NortemasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::MATEMATICA
