By 2030, it is estimated that more than 104 million tons of plastic will pollute the ecosystem, as phrenetic consumption generates a huge amount of waste. Improper disposal of the waste may have serious consequences for the environment and the general population. It take years to the majority of materials discarded in nature get decomposed, in addition, it also can occur the dissemination of harmful substances, leading to problems in life’s quality. Reverse logistics is a mechanism of economic and social development wich can be defined by a series of actions designed to make practicable the collection and return of solid waste to the industrial environment, and for reuse or final destination environmentally adequate. In order to achieve the goal of ideal management, the 3Rs functions, which consist of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, are adopted. Reduce the volume of material to be disposed of prior to consumption, reuse the material for any other application and recycle by turning the material into a new part. With the aiming at the evaluation of the recycling methodology and the properties of the final material obtained in the process, the experiment was carried out with a residual agglomerate from the rheology laboratory.
