Therefore, the present work is motivated by the interest in migrating to the free market on the part of “A” group consumers with contracted demand less than 500 kW. The case study aims to compare the total cost that affects the consumer served in High Voltage, point out the feasibility of migrating to the Free Contracting Environment and analyze the impact that Normative Ordinance nº 50 demonstrates in this scenario. The observation starts from the energy bills of a typified consumer, referring to the month of August 2021 to July 2022, along with the elaboration of the three possible costing scenarios and migration between commercialized markets.
