This production unit has stood out as a successful model in adapting biofloc technology to the conditions of the semi-arid region of Rio Grande do Norte, demonstrating the technical and economic viability of this type of farming. The research, carried out during a 360-hour internship period, focuses on evaluating four fundamental pillars of the biofloc system (BFT) implemented on the property: water management, nutrition, health control and zootechnical management.
