From a theoretical and methodological historical and dialectical materialism, we conducted literature search, in which developed and BOOK REPORT readings of texts, articles, books, which focuses on the central categories of the study, which are: Labour, Social, ethical and political project professional, theoretical and in referring to: Ali (1999, 2003, 2009), Boschetti (2001, 2006), Mota (1997, 1998, 2006, 2008, 2009), Netto (1999, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 ) lamamoto (1998, 1999, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2008), Bronze (2000, 2007) Meszarios (2009), Tonet (2009), Lessa (2007), Harvey (2007), Behring and Boschetti (2006), Santos (2007), Ramos et al (2008) among others..Operationalized also a documentary research, using various documents relating to Social Welfare Policy, as well as field research in which we conducted interviews with 07 social workers and creases of the CRAS in the town of Mossley. From the analysis of seizures and determinations of the performance of Social Work in Social Work, concluded that social workers are faced with the expansion of the labor market, given the regulations of the laws relating to Social Assistance, which impose the need for these professionals in this area, but we emphasize that this large open space is not consistent with objective and subjective conditions favorable for professional practice, as the professionals they encounter in their work environments, with poor working conditions, such as inadequate physical spaces , unstable employment contracts and job insecurity and low pay. Such conditions inflect the possibilities of materialization of the professional ethical-political project, even though we recognize that they are concerned with the intellectual improvement, the quality of Service, show that they know and commit to certain principies of design. These principies more closely linked to an overview of society and thus end up relating to the guidelines and policy objectives of Social Welfare. It should be noted that a trend is noticeable the actions of professionals in line with the logic of the institution and policy assistance, on the other hand, show that their actions are directed towards a hegemonic social direction of the project. In this sense, we understand that the materialization of the principies of professional design has found its limits in the face of objective materiality in the context of regressive and naturalization of inequality, which has been addressed, either by local programs to combat poverty, the violence is directed at poor articulating symbolic repression and assistance located.
