The adopted methodology consists of library tests related to monocular cameras and poses capture and the creation of demos that were tested and rated by the physiotherapy team. Then, it was possible to implement a web platform for Virtualter with the functionalities presented in the old version, such as object collecting, stationary march, and climb/down step. Besides, there were built improvements on the page’s frontend, and the creation of a database for greater therapy control and the record of realized exercises. As a result, we could verify the benefits of exergames as a viable therapeutic alternative using low-cost accessories.
