This study has quali-quantitative characteristics, comprising the following steps: bibliographic survey of academic productions involving data collection with teachers, through a questionnaire, and analysis of collected data. This research aims to help, analyze and understand the training and environmental perception of teachers at the Pinguinho de Gente kindergarten and pre-school, considering the guidelines provided by the National Curriculum Guidelines for Environmental Education, provided by Resolution No. 2, of 15 of June 2012, and Law No. 9795, of April 27, 1999. With this study, it is expected to contribute to studies involving the theme, in addition to reinforcing the importance of Environmental Education in the pedagogical practices of education professionals. As a result, it was noticed that most teachers were familiar with environmental education, dispel little knowledge in relation to legislation covering the subject. However, the interviewees demonstrated that they understand the importance of this type of content within their pedagogical practices.
