Methods: Analytical, longitudinal, quantitative, clinical, uncontrolled study conducted with 30 individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, of both genders. All participants performed the exercise with the tube immersed in water at a depth of between 10 and 15 centimeters. The emission of the sustained vowel /a/ and the emission of counting from one to 11 were recorded before and after performing one, three, five and seven minutes of vocal exercise. From this, the acoustic parameters were extracted: AVQI, ABI and CPPs. A descriptive statistical analysis was performed; in addition, the inferential analysis was performed using the two-way ANOVA test for repeated measures. Results: There was no difference between the acoustic index of vocal quality and the smoothed cepstral peak between the exercise performance times regardless of sex, however, there was an increase in ABI from the first to the third minute. Conclusion: Vocal exercise with phonation in a tube immersed deeply in water did not change the acoustic parameters of vocal quality and the cepstral peak of the voice of individuals with Parkinson's disease, regardless of the exercise dose.
