Efeito do Ácido Indolbutírico e extratos naturais no enraizamento de estacas de Pitaia vermelha (Hylocereus undatus (Haw) Briton & Rose) no município de Macaíba-RN. 2021. 35 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Engenharia Agroômica) - Unidade Acadêmica Especializada em Ciências Agrárias, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Macaíba, 2021.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/40296The market for exotic fruits has been gaining prestige in Brazil and, in this context, the Pitaia (Hylocereus undatus (Haw) Briton & Rose) stands out for its rusticity, because it has few nutritional requirements. A difficulty faced by producers for the establishment of this crop is the low supply of propagating material of quality and in quantity, vigorous seedlings with developed root system, so that the damages and stresses caused by the climate, soil and the possible pests and diseases are the minimum possible from an agricultural / economic point of view. The objective of the work was to evaluate the use of Indolbutyric Acid (IBA) and different plant extracts to promote the rooting of Pitaia red cuttings. The experiment will be conducted in a vegetation located in the Specialized Academic Unit in Agricultural Sciences, located in the Jundiaí Agricultural School, belonging to the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Macaíba-RN campus. The treatments were defined as: TC - Control treatment (without rooting application), being the cuttings immersed in distilled water for 1 minute; TAIB: Indolbutyric acid (IAB), using the commercial product of formulation C12H13NO2 prepared at a concentration of 3000 mg L-1. TAM: Treatment with seaweed extract, using the commercial product Vitaplan (Seaweed extract: 15%, soluble N: 2%, soluble P: 8%, soluble K: 6%, Ca: 1%, Mg: 1%, Cu: 0.2%), immersing the base of the cuttings for 10 minutes. TCR: Cyperus rotundus extract, produced from tubers of the spontaneously growing plant collected in the area of the Jundiai Agricultural School. TP: Treatment with pyrolene extract, using a dosage of 10 mL/L, following immersion for two minutes. The data obtained were subjected to analysis of variance, followed by a comparison of means test following Tukey's model at 5% significance using the statistical program R version 4.0.3. For the evaluated parameters, all treatments presented satisfactory results in terms of root system development and lateral sprouting and, for this reason, could be used as alternatives for Pitaia cuttings production. However, we can highlight, taking into consideration cost, availability, practicality, the Seaweed extract would be ideal to be part of the vegetative propagation technique of Pitaia.EstaquiaCuttingsFruticulturaFruit growingAuxinasAuxinsEfeito do Ácido Indolbutírico e extratos naturais no enraizamento de estacas de Pitaia Vermelha (Hylocereus undatus (Haw) Briton & Rose) no município de Macaíba-RNbachelorThesis
