In its State-of-the-art the theme has the satisfactory numerical modeling support and good amount of records experimental tests, however, it still lingers in incipient stage. The numerical simulation represents relevant tool to the assessment of damage caused by the reaction, and their repairs. The aim of this work is the performance numerical simulation of columns, affected by the AAR. For the analysis it is adopted the finite element method on an orthotropic nonlinear model, and a thermodynamic formulation for the AAR deformations.
