Acesso aos serviços de trauma ortopédico no estado do Rio Grande do Norte. 2019. 21f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Saúde Coletiva) - Departamento de Saúde Coletiva, Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, RN, 2019.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/54800Introduction: The increasing violence, occupational diseases, traffic accidents and external causes have had repercussions on traumatic demands with marked budgetary impacts. However, the timing of this assistance can reduce such impacts as well as morbidity and mortality. Objective: To analyze the time between access to the hospital service (urgency) after orthopedic trauma and the evaluation by the orthopedic specialist for the appropriate referrals (surgery) to SUS in the state of Rio Grande do Norte-RN from 2017 to 2018. Methods: documentary research, where data from the state regulation system on the schedules for evaluation in orthopedics were analyzed, as well as data about the profile of individuals seeking the service (sex, age, municipality of origin, part of the body involved). The collected data were analyzed by the calculation of the measures of central tendency. It is hoped that the analysis of this process contributes to the proposal of a timely approach to the care offered to the patients, through the observation of fragilities. Results: At the state level, in 2017 of the 499 patients registered in orthopedic regulation, only two were evaluated (0.4%) expecting 185 and 227 days for care. In 2018, of 688 patients, 149 were evaluated (21.6%), waiting time ranged from 1 to 134 days, with a mean of 67 days of waiting. In the city of Natal, the waiting time for the consultation varied in 2017 from 2 to 516 days and, in 2018, from 1 to 157 days, averaging 119 and 22 days, respectively. Conclusion: The study shows a notorious failure in the opportunity of care, since we find a time much superior to the ideal one for the proper care, counterposing the times elapsed for scheduling to the parameter of 5 to 10 days after the trauma.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Regulação e fiscalização em saúdeOrtopediaAcesso aos Serviços de SaúdeAcesso aos serviços de trauma ortopédico no estado do Rio Grande do NorteAccess to orthopedic trauma services in the state of Rio Grande do NortebachelorThesis
