This study analyzes the need to harmonize politics, economy, and sustainability, highlighting existing opportunities and barriers. The lack of long-term planning and the disconnection between public and private sectors hinder the adoption of sustainable practices, while structural issues, such as insufficient basic sanitation, exacerbate social inequalities and harm public health. Additionally, low awareness among the population and businesses about the benefits of this balance limits essential progress. A more integrated vision of these factors could position Brazil as a leader in sustainability, strengthening its global competitiveness, generating jobs in green sectors, and promoting greater social and environmental justice. The study concludes that sustainability as a geopolitical strategy is the path to a more balanced growth model, and fundamental for a prosperous and sustainable future in the country.pt-BRCIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::ECONOMIAsustentabilidadenegóciossociedadegeopolíticaDesafios do desenvolvimento sustentável e suas perspectivas econômicas no Brasil: sustentabilidade como estratégia geopolíticabachelorThesisENGENHARIAS
