The text is divided into two parts. At first, the author describes the importance of the play as a teaching strategy, using themes that portray the role of the school and the teacher's role in the context of playfulness and some methods and procedures that can be considered important for this practice. The second part discusses recreational alternatives in kindergarten, which were planned and suggested by the author. The results of the research show that the playful fundamentally contributes to the child's development, demonstrating the need for their incorporation into teaching practices.
