In this scenario, many smartphone applications emerged with the aim of reconciling learning, personal organization and technology, enhancing and optimizing study routines, as well as other everyday activities of university students. The present work had as objective to analyze and understand how the students of the Baccalaureate course in Administration, UFRN, CAMPUS Currais Novos are using their smartphones in the academic scope, relating this use to the facility that these apparatuses can offer in the educational process. That said, the analysis is coined by the methodology of an exploratory-descriptive research, using survey and having a quantitative approach. The data were collected through a questionnaire applied to a sample of students from the Administration course of the UFRN teaching institution, Campus Currais Novos.
