Through questionnaires, the perceptions of students and teachers of the Nutrition course at a higher education institution in the city of Santa Cruz, Rio Grande do Norte, were evaluated using a quantitative approach, after using the AVSS. There were 19 participants, 15 students and 4 teachers, where satisfactory results were demonstrated after using the tool, as both audiences considered the software useful and a positive contribution to the teaching and learning process. However, implementing AVSS requires adapting and collecting feedback from a wider audience to obtain a wider range of suggestions and identify flaws and errors to optimize future versions of the platform.
