The emotional basis of the adolescent mother can be influenced by the social support received, which consequently reflects on the child's care and development. Regarding late pregnancy, it is considered from the age of 35 and it is noticed that there is a worldwide increase in the occurrence of this phenomenon. Subjective Well-Being (BES) can have direct impacts on pregnancy and on the formation of the affective bond in the dyad. Thus, the objective was to analyze the relationships between scores of the constructs of social support and subjective wellbeing in pregnant adolescents, young adults and late adults. Sequential multimethod research was carried out in two studies. 1) Investigate the relationship between scores of social support and subjective well-being and of these between sociodemographic, gestational and obstetric variables. 2) understand the importance of social support and subjective well-being in the experience of the gestational period among the investigated public. The number was 366 subjects for Study I and 6 subjects in Study II. Instruments were: Sociodemographic questionnaire, Social Support Scale (EAS) and Subjective Wellbeing Scale (EBES). SPSS for descriptive and inferential statistics, with a 5% significance level for the alpha error, with the null hypothesis being rejected when p <0.05. The data showed high EAS scores with values above 80 points, with a caveat for the group of late pregnant women in the material (76.05), emotional (78.80) and information (77.85) dimensions, with a statistically significant difference. About EBES there are approximate averages in dimensions among adolescents, young and late adults, with no statistically significant difference. There was a positive correlation between the EBES positive affect dimension and the EAS. In the interviews, a relevant point verbalized by the participants relates the capacity that social support would have on subjective well-being, reflecting on the mother-baby relationship and on her self-esteem. Studies relate moderate / high BES scores to better emotional regulation, providing better adaptive behavior and maintaining healthy relationships. Thus contributing to a better quality of life for people.Acesso AbertoApoio socialBem-estar subjetivoGestaçãoApoio social e o bem-estar subjetivo em gestantes adolescentes, adultas jovens e tardiasdoctoralThesis
