With the hypothesis that the triangular approach facilitates the elaboration of more contextualized classes, therefore, implied with an understanding of the arts as an area of ​​knowledge, it is investigated if the use of the triangular approach is an effective proposal in the atelier space. Initially, in the search for similar experience that could help me in this answer, the research carries out a historical survey on the Atelier de Artes do NAC and interviews owners of atelier of teaching of arts of the city of Natal / RN. Sendo percebido que não existem espaços de atelier que trabalham com a abordagem triangular, a pesquisa segue em uma perspectiva de análise de práticas docentes com a abordagem sistematizada por Ana Mae Barbosa.
