The production process of cotton fabric involves several stages, including yarn sizing and subsequent fabric desizing. In this study, tests conducted in a textile industry laboratory using enzymes and detergents as desizing agents for yarns will be presented, aiming to propose the development of a procedure for evaluating the uniformity of sizing by sizing cylinders. Both desizing agents investigated in this study showed efficacy for the proposed objective.
