The satellite pharmacy is characterized as a core of the hospital pharmacy inserted in a specific care service. Its need is justified by the demand for more specific products, depending on the setting in which it is inserted, as is the case of the surgical center (SC) environment. The Surgical Center Pharmacy (SCP) of the Hospital Universitário Onofre Lopes (HUOL), where the study was conducted, has limitations, such as the lack of a standardized addressing system in which it is possible to identify the location of each health product. In this context, the objective of this intervention project is to implement a system for mapping, addressing and cataloging medicines and medical-hospital materials stored and used in the surgical center, including the standardization of their arrangement for products stored in the satellite pharmacy. To this end, a preliminary diagnosis was carried out using a structured form addressed to professionals working in the service, regarding the identification and location of standardized medications and health products in the CC satellite pharmacy. 24 professionals participated by signing the Informed Consent Form (ICF). Based on the responses, an addressing system was designed, consisting of identification labels, an item catalog, and a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
