So we ask: we train students only to meet the needs of capital? Against this conception, we think the EMI as a coping mechanism of educational duality by overcoming class differences, and work as an educational principle integrating human dimensions. We report the first decades of the XXI century in Brazil, when it issued Decree 5.154 / 04 (signaled the possibility of articulation between High School and Professional Education).
