In view of this, the present work aims to product a didactic material to assist Geography teachers. It is a board game called Discovery RN. The game aims to be a didactic resource to aid in the teaching and learning processes of the first year of High School. For this,we carried out a bibliographical and documentary review of the potential of games in geography teaching; we reveal how the board game Discovery RN was conceived and made, as well as the whole dynamics of the game; we report an experience with the game in the first year of high school class relating the potential of the game to stimulate multiple intelligences, skills and competences. Finally, we applied a questionnaire with the students in order to understand how the game can contribute to the teaching and learning process and observe the student's perception of the game's proposal. Therefore, we did an analysis of the whole process, from the making of the game to its application. Discovery RN proved to be a relevant didactic option to improve student interaction, to expand the subject studied in the classroom, and to have an important attractive factor for the students and a strong incidence in the acceleration of the student's mental activity.
