Historically, stalking behaviors have always existed, but the advancement of digital technologies has expanded and diversified the methods used by aggressors. This study aims to analyze the evolution of the history and concept of stalking, in addition to its legal framework in Brazil, focusing on the application of the Maria da Penha Law. Furthermore, it seeks to evaluate the relationship between stalking and feminicide, proposing ways to improve victim protection. The methodology adopted is a bibliographic review, using secondary sources such as books, academic articles, legislation and case law. In conclusion, the need for an integrated and proactive approach to confronting the crime is highlighted, based on improvements in specific legislation and effective preventive measures.
