To this end, we will present significant elements of the historical aspects of the aforementioned author's first writings, analyzing how the concept developed and matured throughout his work. In this sense, the research will be divided into three chapters, which correspond to three main axes of our investigation. The first aims to contextualize the philosopher's life, the circumstances of his exile and his first writings. The second focuses on the main work that deals more deeply with the cultural industry: the Dialectic of Enlightenment. The third chapter focuses on verifying how the concept changed in the decades following the publication of the Dialectic of Enlightenment, considering the transformations in Adorno's late work and how changes in the historical context influenced such transformations.
