Initially, a brief description of ADTs, their consequences and associated risk factors was made. Below, the main ways to prevent these diseases were highlighted. This set of information was passed on to students in the 8th and 9th year of elementary school at a public school located in a city in Seridó Potiguar, through active methodologies, in a 3-day module. Thus, we will seek to achieve the objective of providing students with tools to form multiplier agents with family and friends. Theoretical, practical and complementary activities were also developed. It was verified that the students carried out all the proposed tasks with interest and dedication. During the educational action, elementary school students were able to participate in procedures and handle equipment such as optical telescopes.
