Instrumentos de triagem para identificação do Transtorno do Processamento Auditivo: aplicabilidade do Teste de Dígitos no Ruído, baseado em software, para o português brasileiro. 2019. 69f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Fonoaudiologia) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2019.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/jspui/handle/123456789/28767Objective: 1) To review the literature regarding screening instruments for Auditory Processing Disorder (APD); 2) Compare final Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) of the Digits in Noise Test (TDR) in children with APD, with typical children. Method: In study 1, the search was performed in six databases and in the gray literature. Risk of bias in included articles was analyzed through QUADAS 2. In study 2, convenience sample consisted of 31 children (8 to 12 years), 23 with APD (G1) and eight without APD (G2). Performed basic audiological evaluation; tympanometry; visual numerical recognition; TDR and behavioral assessment of auditory processing. The analysis used the final SNR comparing G1 and G2. 5% significance level. Results: From study 1, 1.114 articles were identified. In the initial analysis of the title and abstract, 24 articles stayed and, after their complete analysis, five remained. In the bias risk analysis, three articles showed high risk at least in one domain. Sensitivity ranged from 42.1% to 97.2%, while specificity ranged from 65.5% to 100%. Compared to study 2, the mean SNR was -7.29 dB (sd ± 4.76) in G1 and -8.42 dB (sd ± 2.93) in G2. There was no statistically significant difference between both SNR comparisons (p = 0.227). Conclusions: In study 1, Mottier Test, HSET Subtest, PET ZFG Subtest, Step (PaTsy) and HLAD Phoneme Differentiation Test showed the probability above 80%. Regarding study 2, there is a similar performance in the DIN results of children in both groups.Acesso AbertoAudiçãoTranstornos da percepção auditivaProgramas de rastreamentoConfiabilidade dos dadosInstrumentos de triagem para identificação do Transtorno do Processamento Auditivo: aplicabilidade do Teste de Dígitos no Ruído, baseado em software, para o português brasileiroScreening instruments for identification of auditory processing disorders: applicability of software-based Digits in Noise Test to Brazilian PortuguesemasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FONOAUDIOLOGIA
