Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Nutrição), Departamento de Nutrição, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/50527Nutritional status and adequate maternal weight gain are important factors for a good pregnancy outcome, as well as for maintaining the long-term health of mother and child. During pregnancy, there is an increase in the nutritional needs of the mother, which aims to supply all the biological processes that are taking place in her body for the growth and development of the fetus. Pre-pregnancy weight is an important risk factor that must be observed, whether for weight gain during pregnancy or for postpartum maintenance. The nutritional status of pregnant women is assessed using the body mass index (BMI) per gestational week. Depending on the pre-gestational nutritional status, the recommended total weight gain is estimated until the end of pregnancy, thus, in each initial nutritional situation there is a range of recommended weight gain. The present study aims to show the importance of the pregnant woman's nutritional status during prenatal care, as it does not only interfere with maternal health, but also with the formation of the fetus, which in turn depends on the mother for its growth. and development, which may be influenced by their birth weight.Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/3.0/br/AntropometriaAvaliação nutricionalGestaçãoNutriçãoPerfil antropométrico de gestantes atendidas na rede pública de Natal - RNAnthropometric profile of pregnant women assisted in the Natal public network - RNbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::NUTRICAO::ANALISE NUTRICIONAL DE POPULACAO
