The main objective of the study is to understand how the absence of the principle of authority can affect the education of young people and the conservation of the world. The methodology adopted includes a detailed bibliographical review of Arendt's works, focusing on the text "The Crisis in Education" present in the book "Between the Past and the Future". Emphasizing that the negligence of authority in modern education compromises the ability to prepare young people for public life, that is, failing to train these individuals for their future participation in politics and in the training of other individuals in an adequate manner.
