Aim to contextualize historically the emergence of the mask, introduce the concerns of Jacques Copeau with the work of the actor/actress coming to realize what would be the first practices of using an object on the face without previous definitions, ie, neutralizing the subject, for construction of persona, reaching Jacques Lecoq as conceptualizer of the term Neutral Mask and main methodological idealizer of this paradigm.
