Faced with this problem, the present study appears as a crucial response to fill this gap. The comprehensive analysis of the success rate of the Biomedical Engineering course aims not only to understand the roots of student retention, but also to identify the main adversities faced throughout the academic trajectory. By exploring data since the inauguration of the course, this study offers an opportunity to outline the success profile of graduates and, thus, contribute to improving the educational experience. By filling this knowledge gap, this study will not only provide an in-depth understanding of course dynamics but also lay the foundation for future continuous improvements. Statistical analysis and identification of patterns of success and difficulties will contribute to the development of more effective academic and social support strategies.
