However, the traditional development of these devices requires many steps, a high cost and robust machinery. Which ends up affecting the patient, resulting in high prices. 3D printing has been a widely used resource in the field of assistive technologies, considering that it is configured as a means of fast and crossed production, which allows a wide design freedom. Therefore, the present work aims to develop a prosthesis model that is an alternative to the traditional production method and subsequently to carry out a finite element analysis in order to verify the behavior of the prosthesis when subjected to load application. Such a model was developed by scanning a patient's stump and leg. Soon after, the 3D modeling of the stump was performed to create the prosthesis fitting. subsequently, the leg was mirrored and joined with the previously modeled stump. With the finished model, 3D printing was used as a production method. Finally, a finite element analysis was performed, where it was observed that the safety margins were positive, indicating that they did not fail for the applied load.
