Thus, a numerical and virtual analysis was applied Making us of Diesel-RK software, based on the CUMMINS DIESEL 6.7 of RAM internal combustion engine catalog data. Although, the computational simulations perfomed out by diesel-RK software allows user to analyze analyzes of maximum power, maximum torque and intermediate powers. In addition, variations in parameters such as specific consumption, valve timing variation, type of material, fuel, among others. Thus, the objective was to simulate and analyze, making use of through the thermodynamic simulation Diesel RK software, the performance of the Four-stroke CUMMINS DIESEL 6.7 of RAM internal combustion engine. The results obtained were close to the real engine model, with a relative error of 6% in the maximum power and maximum torque regimes. Therefore, it appears that the simulations carried out in the software are extremely important for the study of possible variations to be applied in the real engine.
