Justification: The author's work in the pediatric emergency department of a hospital located in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte revealed significant gaps in the care provided to victims of sexual violence. Among the observed failures, difficulties in identifying signs of abuse, the absence of mandatory notifications, and inadequate referrals to the protection network stand out, highlighting the need for an educational tool to guide professionals in handling these cases. Objective: To present the stages of developing an informational booklet on the identification, reception, notification, and referral of cases of sexual violence against children and adolescents, intended for the multiprofessional team. Materials and Methods: This is a methodological study aimed at creating an educational booklet to improve the care provided by the multiprofessional team in the pediatric emergency and pediatrics departments of the hospital. The creation of the material followed methodological guidelines for developing educational materials in healthcare, involving the following steps: bibliographic and documentary review, content organization, development of the informational material, technical review, and socialization with the multiprofessional team. The bibliographic review was conducted using platforms such as Google Scholar, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, and SciELO. Results and Discussion: The developed informational booklet provides practical guidelines to orient the multiprofessional team in addressing cases of sexual violence against children and adolescents. Structured in an objective manner, it includes information on warning signs, reception procedures, the importance of notification, and necessary referrals to the social protection network. Final Considerations: It is expected that the booklet will contribute to strengthening practices to combat sexual violence against children and adolescents, promoting the technical improvement and sensitization of healthcare professionals involved in the care process.
