The study aimed to identify the perception of the landless population about access to health services and health care. This is a descriptive exploratory study of qualitative nature, carried out in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte. The research participants included the campers and settlers, totaling a sample of eleven subjects, one of them being the leader of the MST. The research was conducted through semi-structured interviews and the data analysis technique was used for content analysis. The data obtained were categorized as: The life in the MST that portrays the daily lives of families, their struggles and difficulties faced. Housing and working conditions are precarious, agriculture is destined for family support and the hope of better living conditions with land tenure; and Health Care that addresses health-related actions, being restricted and punctual, difficulty in accessing health services due to distance and health care focused on the hegemonic model. Finally, the study revealed the importance of improving the population's access to services with management support, in order to plan education-service-community integration actions linked to other policies of the Ministry of Health (MS) with the purpose of promoting the health.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Assentamentos Humanos.Acesso aos Serviços de Saúde.Atenção à Saúde.Os permanentes fora de área: o acesso e a atenção à saúde para população Sem TerraThe permanents out of area: access and health care for the landless populationbachelorThesis
