Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Engenharia Civil), Centro de Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/57716Given the increasing development of the Construction Industry, especially in infrastructure projects, and considering the technological advances infiltrating various fields of study, it becomes imperative to merge these two spheres by implementing technologies capable of optimizing the performance of construction works, promoting efficient management, and improving the obtained indicators. The goal of this study stems from identifying the critical points in the appropriation of machines and vehicles by the execution and planning sectors of infrastructure works, in order to develop a technological and managerial process tailored to the real needs encountered. As a contribution to this research, a case study was conducted at a wind farm in the northeast of Brazil, analyzing the demands involved in the appropriation of machines and vehicles used in the earthmoving stage. Through the implementation of the proposed solution, the said project presents a digitized process, capable of significantly reducing the sluggishness of the machine and vehicle appropriation method and enabling the analysis of collected data in just 1 day. Furthermore, given the system's capacity to perform semi-automatically a total of 10 times more recordings than the analog process, a reduction in inconsistency and an increase in the accuracy of the information obtained are observed. Indicators of mechanical and managerial efficiency are automatically generated, which are equivalent to 92.11% and 38.96%, respectively, as well as the indicators of costs attributed to detected operational inefficiency, corresponding to a loss of 30% of the equipment rental value.
