Throughout, we will emphasize the geek culture and how it relates to the world of comics and fashion, with the example of the use of symbols originating at journals. Having this point an introduction to Pop Art and how it influences the geeks in the art world. We also show how these symbols end up participating in the routine of such people in accessories and clothing for everyday use. For an application in our object of study, we will use the case of the character Superman, one of the most popular superheroes ever created in comics. This icon was chose to exemplify the process of involvement with a fictional character's daily lives, becoming part of the culture, consumption and the possibility of it being treated as an object of art.openAccessSupermanArtebachelorThesis
